Yes I would also like to know what is the difference in the donors build. Does it have a bug fix for the seeker bars? Also home much would I have to donate to get a copy of the donors build. I don't have much money being a broke college freshman, but still I would like to give you something for your work. Oh 1 other thing will you be adding support to change the media folder location?

Good Morning
I have a little problem, using MPLAYER with the TV Out Apple cable. In my iphone (JB 2.2.1) the image appears correctly, in landscape, but in the TV it appears as in portrait.
Is there any way to turn it so I can watch it properly?
Many thanks for your work any case.

Hi admin,
I have downloaded mplayer-iphone source code and compiled successfully. It's very nice. I would like play FLV files and mp4 files, but the player can only play some files or other, I think there is something wrong with decoding, Could you help me? also I'm going to donate, but I don't know how much should I donate and how to do it? thank you very much.

I have had mplayer (latest version) working on my jailbroken iphone for a while now.
Works fine - some videos wont play but most do. Most of mine are avi (xvid) but I've played wmvs too.

But for the past few days nothing will play.
The files are there in my /private/var/media folder and when I open mplayer it finds them okay.
But when I touch one of the files in the list on the main mplayer screen nothing happens.
I mean nothing. It doesn't try to play but fail in some visible way - its as if I didnt select the file - it just sits there. Its not locked up either - I can touch any other file in the list. Nothing. Nichts. Nada.

And this is with files that worked fine a few days ago.

I uninstalled mplayer completely and reinstalled from scratch. No go.

I installed vlc4iphone too but it won't play any of these files either (blank black screen). In this case I'm not sure it would have worked in the past since its my first go with vlc4iphone - perhaps the avis never would have run anyway.

I tried resetting too - no luck.

any ideas? help!

Thanks so much for this software! I am seeing an issue with playing LAME-encoded MP3s. mPlayer consistently overestimates the length of the track (usually by about 1 minute). When the track ends, the software just stops rather than proceeding on to the next track. The same tracks play fine in dTunes.

Has anyone else seen this problem?

Is mplayer can play external subtitles as the Linux version does ?

will the donator Version be able to show video from a net harddrive?

Hi, I've been using MPlayer since the day I saw it on Cydia... it's sooo useful. Of course, now I can't use it cuz I've moved to the 3.0 firmware... and this app just won't start anymore... any chance of getting an update compatible with the 3.0 firmware...

I have version 2009.06.23.1 I just upgraded to the 3.0 software and mplayer will not open, screen will just go black an then back to the view of the icons. I still have the right folder setup from before an movie files are there. so I'm not sure what to do. the changelog says this version has support for 3.0. Could you let me know if there's something I need to do for it to work or if I need to wait for another update. thanks

After upgrading mplayer, application would not launch.

I have telnet'ed into iphone and found the mplayer application in rw mode not as executable

chmod 777 mplayer

it works..

Any fix in progress or suggestions.
